Hey everyone! In short: power cut, windows won’t install. Swapped MOBO and SSD but still same problem. Checked forums already—maybe it’s fixed there. My friend had a blackout, now his PC won’t boot. It powers on, fans spin including GPU and CPU, lights all up. I can only copy files (100%) then it crashes during copying and says files missing. BDOD popped up. Swapped SSD again, MOBO too. Now I’m trying another Windows 10 installer even though I used the same drive before. My PC has a Ryzen 5, 3600, 16GB RAM (two sticks), Gigabyte GAMING 5 MOBO (swapped), and a Kingston SSD (swapped). Only CPU, GPU, and RAM have stayed the same. I’m planning to bring it back for testing GPU/RAM and see if I can borrow a CPU or maybe buy a new one. Hope it’s just the installer issue.

Use the first stick if possible. If it fails, rely on the second stick only.

The system was set up prior to the blackout, but after the outage it failed to start. It appears the device was connected to a power strip or surge protector.

It functioned smoothly on Windows before the power failure. No surge protector was connected, which suggests the issue might be hardware-related. I'm reviewing the list step by step as I replace components. I just returned from out of state and plan to test tomorrow. During my trip, I conducted some tests and reached out to a community of computer enthusiasts for additional insights.

I attempted that earlier, but I plan to test it again tomorrow using my own RAM because I have additional storage available at home.
