I saved the W10 64bit GTX 980 drivers and encountered issues with installation—most files fail except for PhysX, which reports a compatible or newer version was found. Additionally, I’m unable to raise my 1440p display beyond 1280x1024 despite wanting higher resolution.

I believe I downloaded the driver from that site and after completing the setup, navigated to your C:\ folder. There should be a directory named NVIDIA, then DisplayDriver. Open Win10_64 (the 64-bit version might be 32-bit for you), go to International, find setup.exe and click it. Just wait while it installs. REMEMBER: this method worked for me but may not apply to others. If it doesn’t help, I’m sorry—I don’t have the right guidance. EDIT: consider restarting your computer.
