Avoid downloading from manufacturer sites. Simply right-click uninstall, select 'remove driver,' then restart. If the issue persists, the Wi-Fi card might be faulty.

You've completed the action, and it seems like things are over. Now you need to figure out what comes next.

Purchase a fresh Wi-Fi card and replace it or return the device if it's covered under warranty.

In services.msc, verify that "DHCP Client," "Wi-Fi Direct Services Connection Manager Service," "WLAN Autoconfig," and "WWAN Autoconfig" are active and operational. You can right-click and open the Services to see if Wi-Fi reconnects.

Most Linux distributions aren't limited to Ubuntu to function properly. A release that mimics typical Windows behavior for installing and setting up hardware drivers works well for testing.
