Windows 10 does not install on a freshly cleared device.
I understand this update is brief, but thank you for your support. After clearing the system, reinstalling Windows revealed several issues. First, during installation, selecting a drive leads to the "getting files ready" stage and then displays the error: "Windows cannot install required files. Make sure all files are required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code: 0x8007025D." I attempted to fix it by using the installation USB and running the media creation tool again, which resolved the problem temporarily. However, I encountered another issue after the OS was installed: upon selecting the language, the screen flickered and then shut down completely, leaving no mouse control. I suspected a GPU problem but tested both my GTX 1070 and integrated 2400G, neither worked. I also tried replacing the SSDs without success. Now I’m seeking advice from the forum for further guidance. Did you reset the BIOS? Please let me know if you have any questions. I’ve also adjusted the system specs to 650W EVGA PSU, R5 2400G, GTX 1070, Samsung EVO 850 SSD, 16GB DDR4 (OC’d to 3000), and tested installs at 2133, 2666, and 3000.
Is the Windows installation using UEFI with standard settings, without overclocking or custom RAM timings?
It's a strange situation, but using another device like a laptop or PC could work. You could transfer your 2.5 inch SSD, set up Windows on the new system, install necessary drivers for the GPU, and then reinstall it on your original setup. This might resolve the issue.
On a Windows laptop, storage options aren't swappable, which means I can't replace the SSD.
