I’m not running any antivirus software with a firewall, only the built-in Windows protection. I haven’t performed a system restore either, so I’m unsure why it hasn’t come to mind. I’ll try it and let you know the result.

I haven’t performed a scan on those yet. It seems I initially assumed it wasn’t virus or malware-related, but I’d be cautious about skipping the check. Let me run it now and take a look.

have you checked to make sure you don't have use a proxy server enabled? have you run the internet connections troubleshooter?
