My PC stopped working while playing City Skylines. Now I experience the annoying BSD message when trying to launch it again—it’s happened before, and my solution was reinstalling Windows. I ran DISM.exe from the admin prompt; it reached about 40% and then halted. I’ve attached a screenshot. If anyone has advice in the meantime, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you ahead of time.

Windows updates remain functional, but the process may encounter issues when attempting to fix a 20H1 instance using a 22H2 image.

The updater remains functional. I performed an update and rebooted before attempting DISM. The SFC report indicates everything is fine. I plan to proceed with the update or replace my current image.
