This has been the problem with my PC for the past year. I tried various keyboards, reformatted the drive, reinstalled drivers, checked the settings and internet resources, but nothing worked. Windows 10 Home seems to recognize my Ctrl and backspace keys as always being pressed, as shown by the on-screen keyboard. The only solution I found was using KeyTweaker and turning off the left Ctrl and backspace keys completely, which forced me to type them in a different way. Before installing KeyTweaker, I would have to restart my PC repeatedly until I had enough time or a faster connection to download and disable the keys before they began behaving strangely. I’m struggling to understand what’s causing this issue. Now I’m considering completely replacing my setup, even though it will cost money. Do anyone know why the software keeps pressing these keys?

Check "WIN + I" > Ease of Access > Keyboard. Also verify any games or apps with adjustable key presses.
= = = =
Maybe there is a damaged file.
Execute "sfc /scannow" and "dism".

Fix Windows Update issues using DISM or System Update Readiness tool - Windows Server | Microsoft Docs
If no resolution appears or the problem persists, examine Task Manager > Startup for any unfamiliar or unrecognized applications.
Search online if needed to identify what the app does and its potential impact.
Turn off the problematic item in Task Manager one at a time, ensuring clarity before disabling.

This occurs even after a fresh full clean installation of Windows. There seems to be no reason why a clean setup could lead to this, and I’m unsure why USB problems would trigger it. Are you using an authorized Microsoft installation media? Does this issue appear immediately after the system boots with any keyboard, or does it develop over time while loading programs? Consider trying a different mouse. Is there any touch screen connected to the device?
