Very often when i move Windows volume slider e.g from 10% to 50%(by clicking), my headphones balance changes.
The weird thing is, in settings it is equal until i restart PC. After restarting i also see changes in settings.
Also because balance doesn't change in the settings at first -headset rebalances after changing volume again.
My headset is connected to the back, but when connecting to the front panel(or other PC), issue dissapears.
I'd like to know why it may be happening and is there a fix? (i doubt)
I wanted to keep it as simple as possible. I can get more info if needed.
Motherboard: MSI b660m a wifi
Headset: hyperx cloud 2
Thanks,
S

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! Are you using the correct BIOS version for your motherboard? It's a good idea to check if your operating system needs any updates. Regarding your headset, try removing the USB soundcard from Device Manager and then restarting the system to see if the problem resolves.

Thank you for your reply.
- I'm using the latest bios version (7D43v1E).
- My Windows 10 is completely updated.
- I've already tried removing the headset from Device Manager, then reinstalling or downgrading its firmware.
- The sound drivers are also current via the motherboard website.
I believe the problem might be related to hardware.
