You have Windows 10 Home and need to reset your password using a PIN. Since you're logged in as an administrator, you can bypass the standard password entry steps by accessing your account settings directly. Look for options related to account recovery or password reset within the admin interface. If unsure, contact Microsoft support for guidance tailored to your situation.

Also needing a reset of Windows Live, but it requires an alternate email address. You don’t have to use the original PW (I’ve handled this a few times).

The login interface offers two choices: your personal name and an administrator role.

I checked the link you shared. It seems to point to a guide about resetting Windows passwords. Downloading it and using it on a flash drive shouldn't affect the process if you follow the steps correctly. Let me know if you need further help!
