I'm unsure if it's an HP device or just my tablet. I have the HP Stream 7 running Windows 8.1 with Bing. KB3035583 isn't listed in my recommended or important update list. How can I obtain this update? I need to keep Windows 10, while my other laptop with a pirated Windows 8.1 did get it, but my tablet with genuine Windows didn't.

Take your time, wait a few weeks—you’ll see the update. The free upgrade will be available for a year, so there’s no urgency.

Don't need to lock it in for the upgrade—just relax. Users mention restarting may trigger the alert, though others claim it fails.

The purpose of reserving is to set aside a portion for future use or specific needs.

Check if I’m not locked out, I can still get an upgrade like MS did with Windows 8.1 via the Store. My second concern is why KB3035583 isn’t listed in my Windows Update or installed updates—when I look for it, it doesn’t appear.

Download and install automatically when available. That’s all it takes.

It seems like your PC is experiencing issues and could be at risk of damage.

Discuss on CoC forum without referencing that. On tablets, it seems to depend on the manufacturer, such as Android updates.
