Updated from 8 to 8.1, then to 10. It looks good—7 is definitely included.

Only Windows 7 and 8.1 are available at no cost. If you're using Windows 8.0, consider upgrading to 8.1, which is also free.

From 8.1 it seems possible to try the update from 8 to 8.1 and then to 10. Check this resource for more details on whether Microsoft can provide Windows 10 as a free upgrade to Windows 8.
