It will provide the necessary support. Upgrading your RAM is definitely required; 4GB is insufficient for basic web use anymore.

Not too long ago browsers were limited to 32-bit versions and could only handle around 2GB of RAM at most, yet people often managed hundreds of tabs. So for regular web browsing, 4GB should suffice. More RAM isn’t necessary for internet use, though it can help if you have extra. Generally, 8GB or more is a good choice for other activities.

You're thinking about moving up to 16 GB, but you want to make sure you have enough funds first.

It mentions this in the context of how things work differently. When Intel and AMD CPUs aren't compatible with the latest Windows 7 versions, the situation flips.

I don’t see any issue with that. I installed Windows 10 on an i5 750 with 8GB RAM and a GeForce 9800 GT. The components are quite outdated.

Guy appreciated the numerous responses. I recently set up Windows 10 but my CPU remains at full capacity... I attempted various online solutions like Super Fetch and others, but they didn’t help. I’ve also verified all drivers and checked Task Manager, which shows less than 1% usage. I downloaded Windows 10 from Microsoft using a genuine license purchased directly from them.
