Hey there, friend. You're thinking about updating to the newest Windows version—Windows 10 1903? That setting mentioned your current version won't be supported soon, and you're worried about gaming compatibility. The latest updates do address some issues, but it's still a big change. Since you play games like LOL, Starcraft 2, and CSGO, you'll want to check if the new build fixes those problems for you. Your laptop specs look solid, so upgrading could be a good move if stability and performance matter to you.

Driver problems halted my system. Even though I use outdated equipment, Microsoft’s history suggests you could face similar issues—be ready to adapt.

No issues encountered during the upgrade of the Haswell system; since it's a relatively recent setup, there are no apparent concerns.

No issues detected. I'm also using older components (X4 955 and GTX 690), and everything works fine on 1903...

You were fortunate to have the right people. Most drivers failed. I also faced problems with my graphics card, and updating Windows or the drivers didn’t resolve it.
