The panel at the bottom didn’t open when I pressed it, so I restarted Explorer and now everything is grayed out. It should work after a reboot, but I’m wondering if there’s a method to restore it without a full restart.

Attempt to terminate explorer.exe in Task Manager, press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to locate Windows Explorer.exe, use Del or End Process to close it, then open Task Manager again. Launch a new task, type explorer.exe into the search bar and confirm.

I've tested the batch file multiple times, and it continues to terminate Explorer and restart it.
