Win11 random BSOD, need assistance.
Good afternoon,
I’m feeling a bit uneasy today because everything on this PC is brand new and I’m unsure how to resolve the issue. It began with random freezes and resets accompanied by a BSOD saying "KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION." Now I have a clearer direction.
Edition: Windows 11 Pro
Version: 24H2
Installed on: 5/17/2025
OS build: 26100.4484
Experience: Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.128.0
My setup details:
- CPU: Ryzen 7 7700x
- GPU: 3060TI
- RAM: 32 GB, 6000Mhz DDR5
- Motherboard: X670-P CSM
I found dump files here, but they’re hard to interpret.

Please help me fix this.
You may want to review the bios update first.
Then examine the Avast VM Monitor next.
(Check for a service issue that interacts with the driver)
(It might be possible to remove the service if necessary)
Otherwise, you should execute verifier.exe testing to accelerate bug detection during corruption.
For now I've taken out the Avast antivirus to check if this problem will occur again. It began happening without warning.
For now it holds no BSOD seems Avast was the culprit. I am scared even to try new Driver for GPU
😛
You may need to wait a week or two before you understand. Even then, another service could be causing issues with the avast driver. Because it was a vm driver, it might also stem from a bios problem or a CPU fault. If the avast driver has a bug, more bugchecks should appear over the next week or two.
If the issue is a CPU bug, it should be resolved in the bios or through a microcode patch from Microsoft or the CPU vendor (such as the ryanmaster driver).
