Hello, your computer has been running smoothly until recently, no updates have been applied and nothing has changed. Yesterday I attempted to power off the machine, but it didn’t shut down fully—screen was dark but fans remained active. I didn’t pay much attention and went shopping instead. After restarting, I entered my password, but it kept locking onto the Windows login screen. I tried booting in safe mode, but that also stuck. I updated the BIOS and reset it to default settings, though it didn’t help. I removed the CMOS battery and held the power button for 30 seconds to clear the reset. Disconnecting all peripherals left only the monitor connected. The most puzzling issue is another user account with admin privileges exists, but it doesn’t require a password. It bypasses the login screen yet still shows a black screen. Task Manager works fine, but nothing else functions. I suspect a corruption in Windows, and troubleshooting options aren’t resolving anything. Any suggestions? EDIT: Removed extra hard drives as well. Specifications: CPU Intel i7-13700k, Motherboard Gigabyte Z790, 32GB RAM (2x16GB), Fury Beast DDR5 5600MHz, RTX 4070Ti GPU, 1TB Fury Renegade SSD, DeepCool 1000W PSU.
