In 1809 a dark theme enhances the explorer's look, creating a very appealing appearance.

This seems unusual. It appears explorer doesn't seem to change color in dark themes. I just verified it's version 1803, but I still believe explorer shouldn't turn dark automatically.

I made the attempt with 1803 and the dark theme on my old PC. The file explorer displayed dark text on white background, which looks great. I'm testing it on another machine now but updates are slow. My old PC also went dark in Explorer… sighs, it really does look nice. I've seen screenshots of that too. It should turn grey, right?

Hmm, maybe I missed it altogether. I’ll attempt to upgrade my PC to 1809 and check the results.

It's an 1809 model. My old man's works don't work, but I set it up for both of us. It looks really great.

It's from 1809, but I believed I had updated it that year. I actually was using the 1803 version, but then I switched back and it started updating again. Took a while on the first try, honestly...
