Will you require a newer processor like an i3 or i5 to run Far Cry 4 smoothly?
I recently purchased Far Cry 4 without noticing how it dislikes my old G3258. When the game launches, it appears in a windowed setting and suddenly freezes. I've attempted the injector fix, but it didn't resolve the issue. Is this a sign that the system needs a stronger processor like an i5? Or is there another way to fix it?
I begin the game. A brief window appears, then the main game opens in windowed mode on a dark background. It becomes unresponsive. I plan to restart and capture a photo.
All drivers have been updated. Chipset drivers, video card support, Intel MEI, and SATA AHCI are ready.
I just restored Windows with fresh drivers. It seems my drivers might have been removed during the upgrade to 8.1.
