I currently have a GTX 1080 card and the graphics are working well. If I upgrade to a GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3060 Gaming OC 12G (REV2.0), will I notice a significant improvement?
Please let me know.

What activities do you apply to the system/GPU? Gaming will increase the visual appeal and frame rate, though the RTX 3060 isn't ideal for 1440p resolution. For maximum in-game detail, consider an RX 9070 XT or an RTX 5070 Ti. Also, the RTX 3000 experienced a temporary load increase, suggesting you should ensure your power supply has sufficient wattage and is well-built. What is the model, brand, and age of your current PSU?

Switching from a GTX 1080 to an RTX 3060 12GB provides about a 20% improvement in performance on average. You might gain more advantage from using DLSS if that's important to you.

Good advice. Just a bit over $100 more. I usually pay with my card for casual gaming.

Play these games at reduced settings, focusing on performance over visuals. This helps the graphics card run better. If your frame rate improves, it shows your CPU can handle higher graphics settings. If it doesn’t change much, your CPU might be the limiting factor.

Performance gains range approximately from 20% to 30%. For major upgrades, aim for at least a 100% increase in performance (double frame rates). For instance, consider the RX 9060 XT 16GB or RTX 5060 Ti 16GB. If you're comfortable with 8GB of VRAM, there are also options available at a much lower cost.

I'm examining these cards and trying to understand why the 5060 Ti seems more affordable.
