Wolfstein: The New Order does not start. It's possible to play, but then without a clear error message, the game just won't run. I don't use Steam or else. What have I tried? I reinstalled the game. I used Windows' built-in fix feature. I ran commands like "Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth", "SFC /scannow", and "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth". The Event Viewer log shows a warning from Lokinimi: System Lähde pointing to Microsoft-Windows-DistributedCOM. Here is the info: Date is 7.5.2022 at 18:52. Task ID is 116, Type is nothing, Level is Warning. The keywords say it's a standard user task on your computer. It says someone named Tietokone tried to get app rights for the game Microsoft.GamingApp_2204.1001.3.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe. You can change this protection with Component Services tool. Here is the XML data: Event ID 10016 happened at time 2022-05-07T15:52:11 in System channel for computer user S-1-5-21-4003211161-108874117--. The data says the app is running local, and the game code version is Microsoft.GamingApp_2204.1001.3.0_x64__. So far, I've tried reinstalling the game and using Windows' own fix feature, but nothing worked yet.

Does the game have a bug report (error log)? It might be that there is a folder called "Dism" running something like "dism". That thing usually does not fix errors with games. Almost every time I win on a 10 pc, it adds DCOM events in apps/features. Choose game and choose repair? Try updating GPU drivers
