Will using PSU extension cables damage my PC?
Hi, I’ve been worried about damaging my motherboard because of incompatible PSU cables. I was thinking about getting the Lian Li Strimer Plus argb PSU extension cables. Before purchasing them, I want to be sure these cables won’t harm my PC. I’ve heard mixed opinions about compatibility and safety of such extension cables, as well as information about Corsair PSUs and their own cables. If you could confirm whether these should be safe to use with my PSU, that would be really helpful.
The power cables on the PC end are normal, though the PSU side isn't. The cable modifiers are built to work with the regular side. Lian Li produces high-quality items, so I wouldn't have any worries about them.
Consider purchasing a quality power supply instead of relying on Strimmers, which frequently cause stability problems.
