I'm wondering if using a Thermaltake TR2 S 80+ 500w PSU on a setup with that Ryzen 7 Pro, RX 580, and the mentioned RAM could cause any problems. I recently had an issue where my 750w PSU destroyed my RX 580 GPU.

The Thermaltake TR2 S is a poor power supply. It has very low quality, bad voltage control, and insufficient protection features.
