Will the Notebook with AMD Ryzen 9 and RTX 4090 function correctly?
Hi,
I'm planning to purchase a new gaming notebook while traveling. I discovered a decent price and good value here:

I'm somewhat familiar with AMD RTX combo laptops. I had a budget model with a Ryzen 5 and RTX 3060 (see this link:
https://www.gabit.hu/asus-rog-strix-g17-...laptop-173) and it didn't work out because they wouldn't integrate properly. The performance was slow during games, and even after changing the motherboard, the issue persisted. Asus seemed to be unsure about a solution, making it quite frustrating.
Anyone has any experience with these latest models? I don't want to spend money or waste time on unhelpful fixes.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer! Your first link isn't functioning properly, it returns a 404 error. Often when your laptop is slow, the fix is to reinstall the drivers for your discrete GPU using DDU. After removing it, reinstall with the newest GPU drivers in an elevated command, such as right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
What budget have you set aside for your laptop purchase? You might want to consider other brands like Acer, HP, Alienware, Dell, MSI, and Gigabyte, among others.
I've experienced two generations of the G14. They worked well, but the NVIDIA GPU on the most recent one failed suddenly after roughly a year and a half. I think it might have been a manufacturing issue, though I'm cautious about buying from ASUS.
Right now I'm using a Lenovo laptop with an Intel/NVIDIA setup, so we'll see how it performs. And while some people joke about Dell, the two gaming laptops I had before switching to the first G14 were from them and performed very well. I just didn't choose the Inspiron G series this time because of its design.
And regarding that link, it appears to be a product page for the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14.
