I own a 16GB drive, just received the card today, and I'm curious if it's suitable for this budget PC.

I was concerned I might have just played GTA V, but it runs well in 1080p.

There is no such concept as "bottlenecking." If upgrading a CPU or graphics card somehow reduces your performance or FPS, a more accurate term would be limiting factor. This happens when adding more CPU or GPU becomes less effective. Focus on "play great" instead. You're doing well. For future reference, games like GTAV often require heavy CPU usage, especially in single-threaded tasks. You may want to run the CPU-Z benchmark on your 9100F and check the single-thread rating. It should be around 475. The CPU-Z Benchmark for Intel Core i3-9100F (1T) - CPU-Z VALIDATOR is recommended. Best CPU performance - 64-bit - August 2023, valid.x86.fr

@geofelt, there are still issues I need to handle. GTA V and IV look much better than expected, but the GTA Trilogy/Definately Editions is full of problems like instability, lag, and crashes. It seems a new Windows 10 install might be needed, possibly due to Direct X or runtime installation issues.

Hey there,
I wouldn't fully agree with the other posters.
Your CPU is a 4c/4t model, which struggles in today's gaming scene. As you've noted, some games run smoothly, especially older titles or those with lower demands.
Unfortunately, current games demand significant CPU power—not just single-threaded performance. Many games utilize multiple threads, and some even require up to six cores. When your CPU reaches full capacity, lag and reduced FPS become inevitable.
The 6600 is a solid 1080p graphics card. If your CPU has only four cores, you might start noticing this effect more often.
