Hi, I'm considering purchasing an MSI VENTUS RTX 2060 and need to verify if the PSU is sufficient for the RTX 2060 card. My setup includes a Core i7 4790, GA-B85M-DS3H-A motherboard, 16GB DDR3 RAM, and previously had an MSI GAMING X GTX 1060 which is no longer available. Now I'm planning to upgrade to the RTX 2060. My current PSU is Antec HCG 520.

Assuming the power supply matches the age of your processor, I'd say it's not necessary. Also, if the RTX2060 you plan to buy is used or second-hand, skip the purchase. Opt for a brand new unit plus a PSU in that budget. To test your thoughts, what's the age of your PSU? You should also consider upgrading other parts to unlock the GPU's full capabilities.
