Will graphite cooling pads revive lapping?
From my understanding, the graphite cooling pads offer greater thermal conductivity compared to TIMs, yet TIMs often outperform them because the pads better compensate for surface imperfections that TIMs cannot fully address. Wouldn't polishing resolve this concern?
While polishing can reduce the uneven spots on a CPU IHS, it won't guarantee a completely flawless finish. The best way to confirm is for a professional to test it and determine if polishing offers a better option.
