Seeking improved local network speed. Currently have gigabit connectivity via switch/router (Netgear R7000 works). My Unraid setup uses an old X79 board with dual LAN ports. The main rig has only one LAN port but supports unused Wi-Fi. Can I combine the wired and wireless connections on the same switch/router to boost server throughput? Avoid purchasing another LAN card or digging new cables through walls if possible. Read about W10 mode selecting the better connection, but there might be settings to adjust for teaming them together. Thanks!

Using two internet connections is feasible, though relying solely on Ethernet and Wi-Fi isn't ideal—maybe it offers better stability without sacrificing speed.

You require a dual-wan router plus two internet connections to achieve faster speeds otherwise it won’t function properly

Sure, I tried to make it clearer. You were looking for a method similar to connecting two Ethernet cables together.
