I've tried setting up a small office inside a shipping container with Wi-Fi, but speeds are very low—around 1 Mbps. I suspect the steel walls are reflecting the signal, causing interference. I reduced the AP power to 4 watts and it helped a bit with one device, but multiple phones still struggle. Any suggestions on how to improve this?

The office fits comfortably inside a shipping container. It’s likely the team didn’t adopt Ethernet because it’s the simplest way to boost speed and reduce latency in such a compact area. Connecting devices via wired connections would also enhance phone performance.

You possess several entryways. A mix of reduced power and diminished gain antennas could be beneficial.

many components function well, yet cellphones struggle when doors are shut and hard wiring is tricky. I'm considering moving the AP outside. Unifi UAP U6+ or similar might work.
