I've been using Windows 11 on my Dell Latitude 5591 for months now. The main problem I'm facing is frequent Wi-Fi interruptions—no other device on my network loses connection. This started after I switched to Windows 11. I've followed various troubleshooting tips from YouTube, but they only restore the connection temporarily and don't solve the root cause. I've also updated all the latest drivers and firmware, yet the issue persists. Anyone else experienced this? Do you have any ideas on what might be behind it?

Based on what I went through, I would suggest checking the Wi-Fi card drivers. I faced similar problems with an older Travelmate, and after upgrading to Windows 10, connectivity issues appeared. Sometimes traffic causes blue screens. During troubleshooting, I discovered outdated drivers for legacy hardware that weren't fully supported in Windows 10. Earlier versions like 7 or Linux worked fine. It seems your issue could be related to the same problem.

I've already installed the latest Windows 11 Wi-Fi drivers from the Dell site.

Your suggestion is simply about compatibility issues with the operating system and hardware. The update to Windows 11 might not have been essential for your setup. There are several factors that could make Windows 11 resemble Windows 8 more. If you're not using a 12th generation Intel CPU, going back to Windows 10 would be a good option.

This seems like a typical problem rather than a compatibility conflict. Looking up the issue online confirms it’s widespread. I upgraded to Windows 11 on my laptop just for testing new features and troubleshooting any problems, without planning to revert. The machine has an 8th generation processor and performs well overall, though the Wi-Fi connection is the only area that causes issues.

The 8th generation is the first officially supported version for Windows 11... I'm confident in what I mentioned =P

Thank you for your ideas. I believe the newest Windows 11 Wi-Fi drivers from Dell should help resolve the problem, either from Dell or Microsoft.

I performed a Windows update on Tuesday evening and it has remained connected to Wi-Fi continuously, with no issues so far.
