Wifi problems
As mentioned, 5G is not the same as Wi-Fi, and using an Ethernet cable means you’re not relying on Wi-Fi at all.
For 5G coverage, you need to search for the closest tower on a map and direct your device toward it. If the tower is on the opposite side of the house, and the house blocks the signal, you’ll understand why it doesn’t perform well. A phone might switch to 4G/LTE, but a 5G device designed for extra bandwidth might not function properly.
I’m unsure about your device’s details if you’re keeping its model number private, though some 5G gateways do include antenna ports. These are rarely used unless relocating the device is necessary, since long-distance antenna cables at 5G frequencies can cause signal loss and actually degrade performance.
