Just tested my machine on my dads setup, no improvements, still around 6-10Mbps down and 50Mbps up. Therefore my cable is probably not the fault here. Just for reference, this is the cable I bought recently: https://www.amazon.de/CSL-Netzwerkkabel-...op?ie=UTF8 For speedtests I am using ookla, google speedtest, speedtest.org, and the speedtest of my german provider "Vodafone speedtest" with their runtimes varying between 10-30 seconds. I also tried Steam downloads, with the same outcome of around 10Mbps download on a 10gb game.
Have you updated the system? I thought you referred to a network driver, but wasn't clear on what that meant. Also, is your VPN active?
