I've been using the same ISP and router for about two years. Recently, my Samsung S10 and Android TV couldn't access Netflix with error code nw-2-5. I checked the error and realized there might be an issue with the internet connection. Since I can still use YouTube, Instagram, and other sites, it seems the problem is likely with my ISP. I tested various devices with different download/upload speeds, but the issue only appeared on Android OS. I ran a SpeedTest on several phones and computers—including my PC, iPhone, and Nexus 5—but everything worked fine. The VPN on Android helped with uploads, but not with Netflix. I also tried static IP settings, Google DNS, OpenDNS, and 1.1.1.1, but nothing resolved it.

Based on this, it seems your ISP might be intercepting Netflix traffic. It appears the data is encrypted (HTTPS) on your PC but not on your phone, allowing the ISP to monitor it. Could you verify if Netflix functions properly in your phone browser? I should clarify my response earlier.

HTTPS isn't limited to just "PC" devices. If it were restricted, the entire network would have been affected.

I didn't intend that. On a PC using a browser, the connection would likely use HTTPS with encrypted traffic. I was referring to the Android app not securing the data transfer.
