I'm trying to connect WiFi to an MSI X870E Carbon board running Windows 11. I've configured BIOS to use WiFi with BT disabled, but no adapter shows up in Device Manager. Ethernet works perfectly. I installed a USB WiFi adapter from the included one—Realtek worked, Qualcomm said no driver was available. After installing, the installer reported success, yet when checking settings and Device Manager it wasn't found. I also tried downloading drivers from the manufacturer's site, but the installer still indicated no suitable drivers. Any advice on troubleshooting this? Thanks!

I attempted to install drivers from the msi website (as KingLoki recommended), but none were accepted. I also used a Netgear Nighthawk, which had inconsistent results. When installing the driver for the Nighthawk, it appeared but was quickly removed, sometimes after a delay and other times immediately. Before removal, it would repeatedly search for Wi-Fi networks (visible via the Wi-Fi icon), refreshing every few seconds—sometimes connecting, sometimes disconnecting entirely. I managed to enter my Wi-Fi password once and connect, yet the driver was still removed by the system, and I’ve never been able to reconnect or fix it. The same issue occurred when toggling Wi-Fi on or off in the BIOS.

I saw a discussion about resetting CMOS and it seemed to help.
During the first setup, I couldn’t get two RAM sticks to work. Running one worked, but adding a second after that caused issues. I think changing the hardware setup triggers a reset.
Recently, I added two M2 sticks, disconnected the system to save power, and pressed power while unplugged. After rebooting, Wi-Fi functioned properly and remained stable during the check.
