WiFi issues with Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming Wifi II
I just built my pc today and everything is working fine except the windows isn't recognizing the fact that it should have a connected wifi device. When I go into the device manager nothing and the windows network setting doesn't even have a wifi tab. This is my first build so I don't know if this is a common thing or not. Anybody got any ideas or advice for me?

Set up the chipset and wireless software for your motherboard. All relevant drivers are available at the provided link. You may connect your router using an ethernet cable or download the files onto a USB thumb drive from another computer.
You encountered an error where the system blocked a file extension. It might be related to the PieExtension.INF file, which could interfere with your setup process. Consider checking for updates or compatibility issues.
It seems the issue might be related to folder access rights or your AV software blocking it. On the main folder, right-click and choose "Properties," then go to the "Security" tab. Ensure "users" have "Full Control"—this is usually the simplest fix. You may also want to remove the folder or restore permissions afterward to avoid any security risks if someone tries to exploit it.
I attempted to adjust the folder settings for full user control, but the same error persists. I also downloaded the newest Wi-Fi driver from Intel’s site and installed it instead of the one from Asus, yet the driver worked fine and didn’t resolve the problem.
I wasn't able to resolve it. You still experience the same problem, but now you can connect via Ethernet using cordless.
