I attempted to set up drivers but needed a bootcamp installation. I didn’t install Windows normally—I used it like a regular PC with a flash drive. It seems the Mac OS is no longer available on my Macbook.

I might be mistaken, but I think that's the best approach to get working drivers. Back when we had developers using Windows on MBPs, the Bootcamp files were essential.
