Hello! I encountered an unusual problem with my Asus X541UVK notebook in my flat. At home it functioned normally, but here it shows strange behavior over Wi-Fi. The device connects and works for a short time—1 to 2 minutes—then suddenly loses internet access. The connection remains active sometimes, showing the yellow symbol, other times it stays stable. It uses a Realtek RT8732BE Wi-Fi card.

I've tried several solutions: installed a Broadcom card (same issue), reinstalled Windows 10 1803 and 1809, updated BIOS to version 308, used official Asus drivers instead of auto-downloaded ones, and even used Realtek drivers from realtek.com. Interestingly, both Wi-Fi cards worked perfectly under a live Ubuntu 19.04 environment.

The router is an Asus RT-N12+, running the latest firmware. Other devices like my phone, an Acer Aspire 3 notebook, and two older computers all connect reliably over Wi-Fi. (One of those had the Broadcom Wi-Fi card I tried.) Maybe replacing the router would help? At home I use Tp-link and Asus RT-N66U routers, which have worked fine. Any advice would be appreciated—I’m not sure how to fix this.
