Have you attempted resetting it? Disconnect the modem for 10 seconds to clear the capacitors, then reconnect. This often fixes many issues.

Are you sure there’s no full loss of internet connection from your home? It might be more than just Wi-Fi issues—try connecting another device directly to the router to confirm.

It appears you're dealing with either a cable modem or an DSL modem. The issue seems to be retraining to a slower speed because of interference like FM radio signals. Another chance is the device is stuck in a watchdog mode, preventing it from resetting properly after a firmware update.

It's a cable modem. I'm not entirely sure about the watchdog process, but it might be possible.

I believe cable wear might be involved. The ISP should have verified this, but the heavy network load could be the problem. The modem might be failing, while the router is still functioning fine. Since I recently replaced it, the issue isn’t with the router.
