Recently I purchased a budget Wi-Fi adapter from Amazon to connect an old computer as a server. Issues emerged when I linked the adapter to the internet. My phone would frequently connect and disconnect, repeatedly showing an incorrect network password. Notably, my main computer using a standard Ethernet cable remained stable, while the older machine relying on the adapter struggled. I suspected the problem stemmed from the adapter, as turning off or reconnecting the main computer restored normal Wi-Fi functionality on my phone. The adapter in question is a Ubit Wi-Fi 5 + Bluetooth 4.2 device.

I also used the included disc to set up the drivers. It seems it didn’t really fix the issue, though it did make the Wi-Fi speed on my server faster. I thought they might have made a change, but it didn’t solve the problem. I also performed a network reset via the settings, yet the issue continued.
