I’m looking for a way to upgrade your broken laptop’s mini PCIe Wi-Fi card to a standard PCIe slot without buying a new N900 adapter. There might be adapters available that convert the mini PCIe to a full PCIe interface, allowing you to plug it directly into the X4 slot. It seems you might be able to locate a Mini PCI-E to PCI-E card through eBay, Aliexpress or similar sites. The listings I found include antennas on the mounting bracket for easy attachment, suggesting they’re designed for your intended setup.

It's been a while since I needed internet access. My last WiFi adapter was from TP Link, but it cost over $20. I've heard cheap options often end up being even cheaper. I'm planning to use TPLink and Asus for my next purchase.
