Open device manager, select network adapters, right-click the Wi-Fi option and choose update. Instead of automatic search, switch to manual and pick from available options. Scroll down to Microsoft, select a compatible driver, as the built-in drivers often perform better than Realtek ones. It was still possible to find updates, though it sometimes required repeated attempts before finding a working version. Usually, the Microsoft Wi-Fi drivers are more reliable, even if they were once frequently disabled by software issues.
