WiFi Card
This device is suitable for gaming. It’s a solid choice for performance.
It's perfectly fine, and overall it's a decent card. I really like these budget options because the antenna works great—just like the ones that are noticeable but easy to reposition. If you want to upgrade the chip later, that's totally doable. Plus, having an internal USB port (by connecting the "extension") can be quite useful.
WiFi isn't ideal for gaming. Ideally, connect your PC to a wired connection using an Ethernet cable routed to the area where your PC is located.
A router in the basement would severely disrupt WiFi performance, potentially ruining the experience. A relay could be a good upgrade worth considering.
