You're wondering if you should get a motherboard with built-in Wi-Fi or purchase an external one for your new AMD 5800X. With a budget of 1700 euros, it's important to balance performance and cost. Consider what features matter most for your setup before making the decision.

Do you depend on Wi-Fi and how much you're willing to spend? With a PCI slot, you can install any premium Wi-Fi solution you desire. You can find excellent Wi-Fi cards for around 20 to 40 USD. Usually, stability and speed are significantly better than USB connections. Integrated Wi-Fi offers the advantage of minimal interference in your setup. I’d consider paying a bit more for that, but not excessively. A small extra of 50-60 USD might be reasonable for a solid Wi-Fi integration.

Sorry, the total cost is 1700 euros for the entire project. Also, I'm shopping in Spain.

From my home location it isn't feasible to connect via Ethernet.
