Hello, I bought a Wi-Fi extender to boost my college internet connection. However, when trying to connect to the college Wi-Fi, it asks for extra information like my ID and password on another page. While setting up the extender, it doesn’t show a secure login page and instead gives no security warning. I’m also required to sign in every six hours on campus, but I’m unsure how this works through the extender. How can I get access to the login screen so I can enter my credentials?

These devices are designed specifically for this purpose. Have you contacted the IT team? The majority do not permit adding personal extenders. Are you connected via cable in your residence?

Yes, you can find a prompt webpage that lets you enter your ID and password. Look for platforms offering login or registration forms with customizable fields.

Is the extender now linked to the Wi-Fi network?
