Hello, Your PC stopped showing Wi-Fi. I verified the USB adapter works and tried reinstalling the driver, but it didn’t succeed. Could you help me resolve this? Thanks!

You're running two operating systems side by side. It's either dual booting or you're using Ubuntu as the primary OS.

You're likely experiencing a boot issue where the system freezes in Linux after rebooting from Windows. I've faced this before and it often happens when the system gets stuck in a sleep state. Have you attempted restarting into Windows and then booting Linux?

If windows also fails to recognize the WiFi card, you might need to reinsert it. If it's built into the device, that's likely not possible. Also, when using a Ubuntu Live USB, does the card appear?

I also have a Realtek USB chip with Wi-Fi, model 8811. I've noticed this problem before, especially when the system running on a USB drive has compatibility issues. After rebooting, it often works again. It seems installing an older driver or a different version might help, given the driver I currently have is outdated.

Windows shows the Wi-Fi problem in pop_os, as seen in the screenshot. When you run "lsusb," the USB adapter appears but no Wi-Fi is detected. I've tried rebooting and shutting down the router many times; maybe installing an older driver is the fix you're looking for.
