It would have been better if you had configured the Wi-Fi during the setup.

Additionally, the issue persists across multiple devices using the same operating system. The Wi-Fi setup fails initially, while the connection works fine on Windows. It's unclear what caused this inconsistency.

It seems unusual. I’m not very familiar with Kali and Ubuntu, but it might be related to a hardware problem.

they're having an issue with the Qualcomm Atheros AR9227 Ath9k PCI Wi-Fi card. Neither version 19 nor version 20 works properly; version 20 shows available networks but can't connect due to authorization timeout, possibly. I'm not sure what's going on.

It appears the WiFi chipset has limited compatibility with Linux. Occasionally, certain devices fail to function properly.
