My board is an Intel DH77EB and the problem is that when I insert a Wi-Fi card into this slot, it doesn't function. I boot into Windows and the Device Manager shows nothing for the Wi-Fi card. The photo I shared is from another source, not my board—I just used the port I tried, but no Wi-Fi card works. I've tested four different cards and still can't find the BIOS option to enable it.

Check Device Manager for unknown devices. Remove any Wi-Fi connections you have installed, then restart your system to observe changes.

I'm not sure, but it might depend on the device. You may need to enable it in BIOS settings for proper functionality.

Purchasing an inexpensive device like an Edimax can still perform well compared to onboard cards. Avoid jumping to conclusions and assume it’s slow without testing first.

It's not a guess when I buy reputable brands—it only reaches 50 Mbps, which is slow. Ethernet usually provides 300+ Mbps for me.
