Reduce the distance between your device and the router, then connect a cable straight from the router to the computer. Check the connection speed to identify any issues.

Get your M2 has been replaced since it stopped working. Your Wi-Fi card isn’t functioning, but the Bluetooth card works fine. You’re using a Wi-Fi booster, a point device, and connecting via Ethernet instead of the original cable.

I replaced the motherboard Wi-Fi card and then put it back in, followed by the Bluetooth and wireless WiFi card.

Hi, your Wi-Fi speed dropped from 1.1 gbps to 90 Mbps. It might be due to interference from your cat 8 cable or the router location. Try moving the router closer to your device or changing its channel. Also, ensure your Wi-Fi card is properly connected and not damaged. If the issue persists, check for other devices using bandwidth or contact support.

I'm having trouble understanding the setup. Which router or access point are you using? Are you connecting the PC via Wi-Fi or a wired connection? The mention of "CAT 8 cord" seems confusing—did you mean to refer to CAT5e instead? And is the network speed you're expecting based on the cable type?

I recently acquired a cat 8 and connected it with a 5E setup. The main hub is located in the basement while the router sits upstairs.

You seem eager to proceed. Confirming your understanding: Wifi is a type of wireless networking, not a wired connection. If you switch to a wired setup, it won’t be considered Wifi. You mentioned the cat8 cable—would you like to discard it and reinstall the previous one? Let me know if anything else needs adjusting.
