Wi-Fi booster ; cable ; connecting instructions
I recently purchased a TP-Link Wi-Fi extender and am trying to link my laptop using an Ethernet cable. After several attempts, the laptop still displays 'No Internet connection.' Could you point out where I'm making the mistake?
What is the model designation? You seem to have a confusion about the functionality of Wi-Fi extenders.
It seems the Ethernet port functions in two ways. When the extender operates in AP (Access Point) mode, the port connects the router as an internet source. If set as a repeater, it provides internet access for wired clients. You might be using it incorrectly or the repeater isn’t linking to your router.
The router is linked to the EXT and functioning properly, but the Ethernet connection via Cat 5e isn't working.
It seems there might be an issue with accessing the repeater user guide at the moment. Would you like me to check the current mode and provide instructions for configuring the Ethernet port?
