Why would GTA V crash without any apparent cause?
I just completed the purchase and finally installed a large number of Gigs. When I opened it, it crashed right away. I tried multiple times to restart the PC and followed the instructions on the Rockstar website. I don’t want to re-download the game—I’m using the Social Club platform, by the way. It seems you need to reinstall the game. Apologies, but downloading/removing 65GB is quite large.
Before beginning, confirm your storage capacity is sufficient. Have you installed any mods or third-party software?
Check the modification timestamps or use a tool to identify which files were last changed.
Check your downloads and organize by date or search by mod name. If not found, look for mod folders inside game files—like a documents subfolder under the game’s name. Some titles may have dedicated mod sections.
