Right now, when playing League of Legends at high resolution without frame limits, my game would freeze suddenly and my FPS would drop to zero for a short time, then slowly recover whenever multiple area-of-effect spells are cast simultaneously. I have three screens open during gameplay.

Monitor 3. Discord. Sharing screen with friends.

Monitor 2. Twitch watching a live stream (Chrome)

Browser window open when browsing Amazon or checking emails (Chrome).

This is my setup:
- Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix Z590-E
- CPU: Intel Core i9 11900K
- RAM: 2 x XPG 16GB (total 32GB)
- GPU: Asus ROG STRIX 5070
- SSDs: XPG 1TB, XPG 2TB
- HDD: 2TB
- Cooler: Asus ROG 240
- Case: Asus ROG Strix Helios

I previously owned this graphics card and they said it was due to a component mismatch because everything was from Asus and the GPU had reported issues.

GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3080 Ti

Even after switching to the 5070, I still experience some problems. Anyone has any ideas about what might be causing this?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! Please note the specifications of your PSU.
GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3080 Ti
Even after replacing it with the 5070, I still encounter some problems.
Did you run DDU before swapping your GPU and then installed the newest driver from Nvidia's support site?
Regarding installers, what operating system are you using? If you're on Windows 11, which version of the OS are you running?
The thread has been moved from the Components section to the Graphics cards section.

How often does your RAM refresh and at what speed in MHz?
What are the resolutions of your three monitors and their refresh capabilities?
What is your typical frame rate during gameplay, whether high or low?

Currently using Windows 11 26100.4946. DDU's details aren't clear since it was left behind after being taken care of in the store.

Frame rate dropping to zero during intense player activity and then recovering shortly might indicate an internet connectivity issue. It's wise to keep an eye on it while playing to eliminate this chance.

Currently, while using my computer, it suddenly stopped working properly and remained unresponsive for about 15 minutes. I had to restart it manually.

I'm not sure if this is helpful, but it definitely seems like a frame buffer problem.
It reminds me of copying a big file to a USB drive. The copy starts quickly as the data goes into a cache or buffer on the drive, then suddenly stops when the buffer is written.
Three monitors set to HD will require a lot of memory. Try lowering the resolution to check if your frame rate improves.
If it does, you likely just need a graphics card with more RAM.

Examine the Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer for any error messages, alerts, or informational logs occurring near the moments when frame rates drop or the game freezes.
Consult Task Manager, Resource Monitor, and Process Explorer to track system behavior during gaming sessions.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysint...s-explorer
Utilize all three tools sequentially, but focus on just one at a time.
Be aware that you might need to allocate part of your screen to each tool to maintain visibility. This adjustment could influence gameplay but is essential for troubleshooting.
Expect a process of learning and refining your approach; patience is key.
For instance, as noted by @Mugsy, observing RAM spikes under specific conditions can provide valuable clues.
The goal shifts from simply achieving performance to identifying the root cause of issues.
